The EVP Story…

E Video Productions, LLC team members come from a variety of backgrounds, including major television networks, stage productions and professional sports. Owned by Darcie King and her husband Kristopher, the company draws from their experience at NBC and ESPN respectively. In 2014, E Video Productions, LLC won two (2) prestigious Bronze Telly awards for their work on a documentary on Mantoloking, NJ after Superstorm Sandy devastated the shore and for their School Safety Video featuring the Wave system by Service Works International. EVP currently has clients that range from mom & pop local businesses to international corporations, large municipalities to well known non-profits. EVP specializes in the development of video portfolios for companies, organizations and individuals to showcase their ideas, talents and skills within their marketplace. EVP's diverse clientele creates a unique environment where each production garners individualized attention and a fresh perspective.

EVP opened doors in 2001 and has since built a strong reputation as one of the country's top producers of Webmercials – commercials created specifically for the web. EVP not only has the facility and equipment to handle high end video projects, but they also have a compassionate and enthusiastic crew, and a knack for story-telling. As a small studio, EVP is flexible enough to handle any production need, but with a large network of crew across the country, they can handle even the largest project. 

As E Video Productions, LLC looks to the future, Kristopher and Darcie and the rest of the EVP team continue to embrace the latest technical advancements to provide exceptional videography services.

  • 2014 Bronze Telly – Never Washed Away, Rebuilding Mantoloking - Interview-based short-form documentary about the effects of Superstorm Sandy on Mantoloking, NJ and how the town rebuilds after such a devastating storm.

  • 2013 Good Neighbor Award – Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore

  • 2011 Young Altruistic Professional Award, United Way of Ocean County

  • 2010 Gold Award, JSPRAA – Kick Cancer Overboard - Interview-based promotional video to show the stories behind the Kick Cancer Overboard initiative and encourage people to support the cause.

Darcie King - Writer/Producer

Darcie King is owner & operator of E Video Productions, LLC, a full service video production company. Her work on the documentary “Never Washed Away” about Mantoloking, NJ during and after Superstorm Sandy won a Bronze Telly Award in 2014. Darcie’s variety of experience in production includes Production Manager for the pilot episode of ‘Surviving Sam’ starring Alicia Minshew and writer and producer of several docu-drama productions for Monmouth and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Offices on topics such as Drug Addiction, Sexting and Distracted Driving. She is a freelance script writer and copywriter for companies such as Cook Films and Ross University School of Medicine.

Darcie graduated from Elizabethtown College with a BA in Communications and a minor in Theatre. Prior to E Video Productions, Darcie worked as an editor for CGI Communications and as a Studio Camera Operator and Floor Director for NBC30 in Connecticut. She is very active in the community, serving at Wellspring Church and various theatre organizations. She is also a Girl Scout leader for both of her daughters’ troops. Darcie won the Stevie Award for Women in Business in 2008, the Young Altruistic Professional award from United Way of Ocean County in 2011 and was featured as a Top 10 “Mover and Shaker” in Ocean County in 2015 by Ocean County Happenings Magazine. Darcie lives in Lacey Township with her husband Kristopher and their three children – Ryan, Victoria and Rosalia.

Kristopher King - Owner/Consultant

Kristopher graduated from Elizabethtown College with a BA in Communications and went on to work at ESPN. His rolls at ESPN included technical operations, master control and video playback before completing his time there as an associate director for shows such as SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight. He was chosen to attend the MLB Allstar Game in 2000 and the Superbowl in 2001 as remote crew, and was part of two crews that won Emmy awards.

Kris' video production work has won him awards in both shooting and editing categories, including two 2013 Bronze Telly Awards for his work as Director of Photography and Editor for a documentary of Mantoloking, NJ after Superstorm Sandy devastated the shore and for When Seconds Count - a video about preventing school violence. Kristopher is also the Multimedia Production Manager for Ross University School of Medicine. In 2012, Kristopher traveled to Haiti to document a missions trip in Dame Marie. The documentary is available on YouTube.
